I came in with a thrown out lower back, upon recommendation by my partner who also sees Melissa.

Melissa is incredibly astute and perceptive and recognise and issue with the way I turn my hips and the way I align my body when I bend down - something other physiotherapists have not noticed. I immediately noticed how moving the ways she showed me reduced the strain on my lower back and helped lengthen my back!

She also noticed a few of my vertebrae were turned and were being kept that way due to the tension. She did an adjustment using methodical pressure. She finished with ultrasound therapy and athletic taping. These, combined, provided me with a tonne of useful information about how I should be moving and pain relief!
